Even though my mom was only able to stay with me for 5 1/2 years of my life. She tried her hardest to keep me happy and take are of me. I know from stories and pictures of her, that she loved me very much. Like any mother’s love for her child. I was young and didn’t understand much. The day that her spirit left started off as a normal day. She dropped me off at school and everything was fine. I came home and wondered where she was, but didn’t think much of it. Then my grandma told me the bad news. I can’t exactly remember everything she said to me, but I know that I had lost my mom forever. It completely changed my life. I had to move in with my dad (they divorced when I was a couple years old), change schools, all that drama. It was definitely life changing. After that, I learned to appreciate almost everything I got. I see posts like this all the time. Don’t forget about how this woman gave life to you, took care of you, loved you. Maybe she can get on your nerves sometimes, but don’t ever say things like “I hate you”. It could be the last thing you say to her. Make sure you let her know that you love her. Do the little things for her, appreciate her. I miss my mom so much. You never know what you have until you lose it.</3
